Haaland Scores his First Premier League Hat-Trick as City Fight Till The End vs Crystal Palace

Erling Haaland bagged a hat-trick as City came from two goals behind to defeat Crystal Palace 4-2 in an enthralling Premier League encounter.

The Etihad Stadium was stunned as the visitors raced into a two goal lead in the first half. But Pep Guardiola‘s men fought back after the interval with two quick goals from Bernardo Silva and Haaland. The striker was then in the right place at the right time to tap into an empty net with 20 minutes to go to put City ahead.

The Norwegian stole the show with his clinical second half display that proved the difference between winning and losing.

STAT ZONE

Only Sergio Aguero (six) has scored more goals in his first four Premier League appearances for City than Haaland (five).

WHAT IT MEANS

City, temporarily at least, top the Premier League on goal difference ahead of Brighton and Hove Albion. That could change if Arsenal beat Fulham in Saturday’s late kick-off.
