Guardiola Says Phillips & Palmer are Ready to Face Newcastle on Sunday & Gomez is Settling in Well

Kalvin Philips and Cole Palmer are back and available for selection after missing out on the action in Bournemouth due to fitness and foot injury respectively.

Speaking in the usual press briefing ahead of the Newcastle United clash on Sunday, Pep Guardiola said the two are back and some niggles for some players but the rest are okay. This only leaves Aymeric Laporte out of action while he recovers from knee surgery.

“Cole [Palmer] is back. Kalvin [Phillips] is back. Some niggles for some players but the rest are okay”, said Guardiola.
