Bernardo Silva reveals Manchester City’s motivation to repeat past successes and cement football history

Bernardo Silva is confident that Manchester City’s collective desire to repeat their past successes will drive them to victory in the current season.

The Portuguese believes that replicating the form that has led the club to many trophies will be the key to spur the team on as the season progresses.

Bernardo acknowledges that the feeling of lifting the Premier League trophy or winning cups is addictive, and that hunger will be crucial in the coming months. He said, “What motivates me are the memories of our successes, they are so nice that we always want to repeat them. Having said this, we have the responsibility of doing our best for the fans and for the Club that we represent, so we always give our all to be able to win again and also to leave our mark on football history.”

Manchester City has won four of the last five Premier League titles, in addition to League Cups, FA Cups, and Community Shields. Bernardo said that they also want to add the Champions League to this list and that the willingness to cement this special period in the club’s history keeps growing.
