Manchester City were forced to settle for a point after Erling Haaland’s opener was cancelled out by Demarai Gray in a 1-1 draw with Everton at the Etihad Stadium.

Haaland scored his 21st Premier League goal of the season on 24 minutes, finishing well following a fine ball to him by Riyad Mahrez. But the Toffees earned a share of the spoils when Gray scored a fine solo goal on 64 minutes.

The game ended with 11 minutes of stoppage time but City couldn’t quite find that all-important second to win the game.
