Erling Haaland continues to showcase his prowess, hitting his sixth hat-trick of the season as Manchester City destroyed Burnley 6-0 to reach the FA Cup semi-finals at the Etihad Stadium.

Julian Alvarez bagged a brace, Erling Haaland secured a hat-trick, with Cole Palmer also scoring. Haaland’s rich vein of form saw him net five against RB Leipzig in the Champions League, and a Premier League winner against Crystal Palace.

Haaland struck twice inside three minutes after the half-hour mark to deflate the visitors, and completed his second treble in four days just 14 minutes into the second half, taking his tally for the season to an incredible 42 goals. Amid a raucous Etihad atmosphere, City powered into the last four with Alvarez and Palmer also on the scoresheet. The victory guarantees City a date at Wembley next month.
