Following the earlier additions of Omar Marmoush, Nico Gonzalez, Vitor Reis, and Abdukodir Khusanov, four more players have joined City:

- Tijjani Reijnders – Versatile Dutch midfielder
- Rayan Cherki – Creative midfielder from Lyon
- Marcus Bettinelli – Goalkeeper from Chelsea

All four players are included in City’s 27-man squad traveling to the U.S. for the Club World Cup and have chosen temporary squad numbers:
Shirt Numbers Assigned:
- Tijjani Reijnders – Number 4 (previously worn by Vincent Kompany and Nedum Onuoha)
- Marcus Bettinelli – Number 13 (following in the steps of Zack Steffen and Willy Caballero)
- Rayan Ait-Nouri – Number 21 (worn in the past by David Silva, Ferran Torres, and Sergio Gomez)
- Rayan Cherki – Number 29 (previously used by Shaun Wright-Phillips and Richard Wright)
It’s important to note that these shirt numbers may not be permanent. The club clarified the following on its official website:

“They remain subject to change until it closes on Monday 1 September 2025 at 19:00 (UK). Printed shirts cannot be returned or exchanged.”
City fans will be eager to see the new signings in action as the team looks to make an impact in the expanded Club World Cup tournament.
