Pep Guardiola Is Open To Managing A South American Team In The Future.

Pep Guardiola is open to managing a South American team in the future.

Pep Guardiola has admitted he would consider managing a team in South America in the future.

Speaking ahead of Manchester City’s Club World Cup match against Al Ain, the City manager expressed his admiration for South American football culture, although he stressed he has no immediate plans to leave the Etihad Stadium, where he has two years remaining on his contract.

Why not?” Guardiola said when asked about a potential future role in South America. “Many good things in football history have come from South America. The greatest players often originate there and later move to Europe due to economic opportunities and prestige.”

Guardiola highlighted the passion of South American supporters, noting the unique energy they bring to the sport. “I love it when you’re in this tournament and play South American teams. Their culture and the way fans live every single action is what football is all about.”

Although Guardiola’s immediate focus remains on Manchester City, his comments suggest he would be open to exploring new challenges in South America later in his career.
