Manchester City Defeat Juventus 5-2 to Finish Top of Group G

Manchester City sealed top spot in Group G of the FIFA Club World Cup with a dominant 5-2 win over Juventus in Orlando.

Pep Guardiola’s side took control of the game early through Jeremy Doku’s opener and a Pierre Kalulu own goal, either side of Teun Koopmeiners’ equaliser.

In the second half, Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, and Savinho added further goals to secure a comprehensive victory, while Dusan Vlahovic added a late consolation for Juventus.

The win means City will face Group H runners-up Al Hilal in the last 16 on July 1st, while Juventus progress as group runners-up.

Rodri made his first start since returning from injury and contributed to a midfield that dominated proceedings in the Florida heat.
